How SLM Works?

In the SLM process, a high-powered laser fully melts metal powder, layer by layer, to form the part’s geometry. After each layer is melted, the build platform moves down, and the next layer of powder is applied. This process continues until the part is fully formed.
Once the build is completed, the part is removed from the powder bed and undergoes post-processing to remove any residual powder. Additional treatments such as heat treatment or surface finishing can be applied to optimize the part for specific industrial applications.
